Aircraft Spins Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Popular California Beach
An aircraft hovering above a crowded coastal beach abruptly began spiraling uncontrollably, ultimately losing altitude and smashing into a cluster of palm groves as beachgoers looked on.
Footage posted online show the helicopter commencing to spiral near Huntington Beach then falling in the direction of the edge of the coast, where it gets stuck amidst palm groves and a steps close to the Pacific Coast highway.
Rescue Operation Update
Emergency responders reported five individuals were transported to a medical facility including a pair who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the crash on that day.
Three people on the street were hurt. Specifics on their injuries were not immediately available.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.

Officials indicated the aircraft was connected to an regular “Cars N Copters” charity gathering planned for the following day.
